Student Debt Consolidation Program

by: BMA Editorial Team 3

A student debt consolidation program may be the answer to your problems. We are living in a world where every child wants to get independent as soon as possible. Everybody wants to become self sufficient at an early date.

The result is that you spend more and more out of your pocket and when your pocket becomes empty, you start borrowing from everywhere else. This is the start of the loan syndrome. As you enter high school, you start taking loans to finance your higher studies. Loans add on with each class, and by the time you reach college, you are neck deep in trouble.

This is where you need a student debt consolidation program. As you pass out of college, you are required to pay your loan installments on time. Usually, under the burden, you are liable to miss a repayment and spoil your credit rating. Student debt consolidation helps students to club all their sundry payments into one consolidated payment every month and manage their finances more efficiently.

Student loan debt counseling can help students come out of debt traps. If you feel you do not have enough knowledge of debt consolidation, you can take the help of student loan debt counseling. In student loan counseling, a student counselor is assigned to help you through the student debt consolidation program. The counselors will guide you every inch of the way and make you understand the process of consolidation.

If you have taken four loans earlier and you are now feeling burdened in handling their repayments every month, a consolidation program will put them all together and make a single payment installment that is within your reach. Thus, you have to make only this single payment every month to the consolidation company. The company makes all the payments to your creditors.

Bring Your Debt Under Control

Many significant benefits accrue to the students if they decide to avail of a student debt consolidation program. The primary advantage is the saving you make on reduced rate of interest for the loan amount. This also reduces the installment amount you have to pay every month. All consolidation programs provide consolidation at lower rates of interest.

Another important benefit is that after consolidation, you do not have to pay the late fees and other charges that you were paying earlier, when your payments were mismanaged and getting overdue. The savings you make here can be utilized for the installments.

The student loan consolidation program offers other fringe benefits like deferred payment schedules and installment holidays to convenience repayments.

Besides, after consolidation, it becomes so convenient to pay a single installment every month to repay your loans. You are relieved of tension and now you can concentrate on how to earn more money instead of how to pay money...

You can increase your Adsense revenue without increasing the number of web visitors?

You can increase your Adsense revenue without increasing the number of web visitors? Lets see how?

The key to earning an income with Google Adsense is to have your ads match the rest of the site, making them look like part of your content. Your focus is to avoid having the Adsense blocks look like blatant advertisements.

The following are Eight ways that you can do this and increase your revenue at the same time:

1) Find the right place- Most website visitors read content that is in the middle of a webpage. As a result, the best place to put your Adsense block is in the top part of the page, at the beginning of your web content. You want to weave the Google Ads into your web content to give the appearance that they are extra links which expand on the information of the page.

2) Use the Large Rectangle? With Google Adsense, you have the option of picking different ad formats. Most of the time people opt to use the Leaderboard (728x90) or Wide Skyscraper (160x600) style ads. Unfortunately, this is the wrong choice, because both look like blatant advertisements. Instead smart webmasters have found that using the Large Rectangle (336x280) yields the best amount of click-thrus.

3) Ditch the border? Many people experience a sharp increase in Adsense revenue when they changing their border. What they change is very simple?they get rid of the border on their Adsense blocks. This is another way to make the advertisements look like useful web content.

4) Adapt the font- Whenever you write content, it should be the same font size and style as your Google Adsense block. This will help make it appear that the advertisements are a natural part of your website.

5) Match the colors? In addition to changing the fonts, you also should match the colors of your website. For instance, if your content is written in black, and your hyperlinks are blue, then the Adsense blocks should also be the same color. Again, this helps the advertisements appear to be normal web content.

6) Do not have too many distractions- On a webpage, it is important to give web visitor a limited number of options. By having too many links and graphics, the web visitor might go to a section that doesn't help increase your profits. While it is important to inform and entertain your web visitor, it is also vital that you monetize your site. So if the main focus of your site is to earn an income through Google Adsense, then get rid of all non-essential links and graphics.

7) If your blog/site is not a theme based then, write/add about things which are most popular, and most viewed these days.

8) Also put those articles, whose ads are more pay/click, which will give you a lot of money even for few clicks.

By taking the time to implement these six simple steps, you?ll see a dramatic increase in the click-thru ratio of your ads. If added to all of the content of your site, your Adsense income will increase.

The easiest way to increase the Page Impression

The easiest way to increase the Page Impression is to refresh the ads put by
Google-adsense is to refresh them, each refresh will count for one Page Impression.
But to refresh the page yourself is hectic and also limited,
so what about a code which refreshes the page itself after 2 or 3 minutes.

Yes it is possible.
Just copy the code below in the body tag of your blog/site.
To change the time after which your page get refreshed change

This really works, if you website is opened for 1 hour
(if var howManyMinutes = 3), then it wil get refreshed 20 times.
so what page impression you'll get, after 5 hrs?

And your visitor surfs your site for atleast 4-5 mins ,
so 2-3 Page Impressions per visitor.
Wow thats really wonderfull!!!

To see the proof: [Click here]

Adsense Formula:Earnings = (Clicks / Page CTR) * (Page eCPM *.1)

Page CTR = Clicks / Page Impressions

What is Cloud Computing?

Like its ancestors; “what is client/server?” and “what is SOA?”, questions like “what is cloud computing?” are already attracting numerous marketing based answers, discussions and blogs.  Here we’ll try to put a clear and simple label on cloud computing.  Feel free to help us adjust this with your comments.

Cloud computing is the evolution and convergence of a number of fast maturing market threads; virtualization, utility computing and software as a service (SaaS).  While cloud computing already extends beyond the sum of these three, they represent the core of what is fast becoming the most disruptive computing model of the 2000′s.

Virtualization – abstracts away from the underlying hardware technology and provides a complete software interface to interact and manage all aspects of physical hardware representation.
Utility computing – provide access to computing resource on a pay-as-you-go model without the need to invest in the capital to build your own computing infrastructure (not unlike utility companies that produce, distribute and sell electricity).
SaaS – deliver business application functionally over the web at a subscription rate without the need to buy or install software licenses
These concepts combine in cloud computing to provide transparent access to required computing software and hardware services on a pay-as-you-go model.  While there are numerous technical and commercial twists in the different cloud offerings on the market the following principles should be common to cloud based solutions:

Speak Now

No requirement to operate or even understand in detail the underlying hardware technology or core software operating platform - you are abstracted away from the technical complexity of servers, routers, switches, etc.
You access the cloud service only when you need it and are only charged for your use - pay-as-you-go model
You access cloud services that represent some unit of business input or value to you – underlying transactions, protocols and messaging are hidden in the cloud
You do not require proprietary software or protocols to use cloud services integrated into your existing business applications domain – everything should be transparently available to existing development methods and practices (JEE, Web 2.0, SOA, etc.)
You can choose to run cloud computing on your own site and infrastructure, on external hosted resources or on some combination of the two – mix and match onsite versus remote cloud operations
As you explore the benefits of cloud computing to your organization these simple principles will help you test your requirements against the declared offerings of your selected vendors (including Sensible Cloud).  You should thoroughly test the cloud offering against many or all of them.

Asbestos attorney san diego

Arrested for drunk driving? A San Diego firm of DUI defense attorneys reports that breathalyzers used by law enforcement do not actually measure alcohol -- and thus may produce falsely high "blood alcohol" readings.
According to the the Law Offices of Lawrence Taylor, Inc., in San Diego, California, most breathalyzers used in DUI cases by law enforcement today use "infrared spectroscopy". This technology involves detection of the "methyl group" in the molecular structure of alcohol. The problem is that there are thousands of chemical compounds containing the methyl group -- some of them found on the human breath. In one study involving 28 subjects, for example, researchers found that the "combined expired air comprises at least 102 various organic compounds of endogenous and exogenous origin" ("Characterization of Human Expired Air", 15 Journal of Chromatographic Sciences 240).
If a person has any of these other compounds on his breath, called "interferents" by the engineers, he will get a falsely high blood-alcohol test result. And if there are two or more such compounds on his breath, the machine will add them up and falsely report the total as the blood- alcohol level.
So what compounds can be found on your breath? According to the San Diego DUI attorneys, diabetics with low blood sugar can have high levels of acetone -- which is "seen" as alcohol by Breathalyzers. And scientific studies have found that people on diets can have reduced blood-sugar levels, causing acetone hundreds of times higher than found in normal individuals (Frank and Flores, "The Likelihood of Acetone Interference in Breath Alcohol Measurements", 3 Alcohol, Drugs and Driving 1). And there are many other so-called "interferents" affecting breathalyzer results
If you are a smoker, your breathalyzer result is likely to be higher than expected. The compound acetaldehyde -- containing the methyl group and so reported by the Breathalyzer as "alcohol" -- is produced in the human body as a by-product in metabolizing consumed alcohol, and eventually passes into the lungs and breath. Researchers have discovered that levels of acetaldehyde in the lungs can be 30 times higher in smokers than in non-smokers. Result: higher BAC readings on the machine.
The San Diego DUI lawyers report that common household products, such as paint, glue, gasoline, and thinners also contain the methyl group. No, you don't have to drink the stuff: simply absorbing it through your skin or inhaling the fumes can result in significant levels of the chemical in your body for hours or even days, depending upon the "half- life" of the compound. So if you've painted a room or breathed in fumes at a gas station in the last day or two, don't take a breathalyzer test.
If you are stopped by the police and suspected of drunk driving, say the San Diego DUI lawyers, you might consider a blood test rather than submitting to a breathalyzer.
Lawrence Taylor is the senior member of an AV-rated law firm of San Diego DUI attorneys practicing drunk driving defense exclusively.

Mesothelioma attorneys illinois

The 2004 bar exam results throughout the United States were less than inspiring. Only 64% of bar takers actually passed. The exam is offered twice each year in July and February, and just last month, while many Americans enjoyed summer vacations, 77,000 law school graduates sat for the July 2006 bar exam. Among the 77,000, over 3,000 graduates sat for the Illinois bar exam with hopes of becoming Illinois lawyers.
Illinois is home to seven law schools, which is more than most states, and according to the results of the 2004 bar exam, only 76% of Illinois bar takers will be licensed Illinois attorneys after graduation. Although 76% is less grim than the national average, it is gut wrenching from the perspective of those who have spent three years of their lives in law school.
Fueled by enough caffeine to keep a lot of coffee shops in business, many law students sacrifice long evenings hard at work pouring over hundreds of pages of cases. The students who complete three years of this regime usually acquire law degrees and debt loads that go well into the six digits, but those law degrees do not make law school grads Illinois lawyers until they pass the 2-day long Illinois bar exam.
The Illinois bar exam covers just about everything that is taught throughout 3 years of law school, from Criminal Procedure to Trusts and Future Interests, every subject covered in law school is fair game for the exam. Although most Illinois attorneys never come across bar exam topics like Future Interests in the practice of law, they remain haunted by the topics and able to regurgitate their definitions tens of years later. Thus, many topics that are not even useful in the modern day practice of Illinois law prevent a lot of law school grads from becoming lawyers.
Many talented law school grads, including Hillary Clinton and John F. Kennedy Jr., have failed their state bar exams. One recent bar taker, Kathleen Sullivan, a Harvard law professor and Stanford law dean, showed the world how difficult it is to pass the dreaded exam when she failed the California bar. The California bar is known as one of the toughest in the country with a 50% pass rate.
What happens to the 24% of law school grads who fail the bar exam? Some of them take it again, and again and again... There is a limit of 6 attempts that law school graduates can make to pass the Illinois bar, however, the passage rate is substantially lower for serial bar takers. Some law school grads attempt to take the bar exam in neighboring states like Indiana and Iowa. Finally, some law school grads find legal careers that do not require law licenses such as writing for legal newspapers.
And what happens to those top 76% of bar takers who pass the bar? The ABA reports that there are currently 1,116,967 licensed lawyers throughout the United States and 961,000 of them were employed as lawyers in 2005. After passing the bar, young Illinois lawyers must compete with about 47,000 other licensed attorneys throughout the state.
Again, the 2004 bar exam results were less than inspiring for those who are interested in becoming Illinois lawyers. Nevertheless, whether you want to call them persistent or just downright naive, this generation of students continues to apply to law school. If there is a bright side to the outlook for Illinois and its future non-licensed law degree holders, it's that throughout human history, it is hard to think of a society that has ever suffered for being over-educated. As more law students compete for positions as lawyers, Illinois will have better lawyers and a more educated populace.

Minneapolis personal injury lawyers

Choose a personal injury lawyer wisely by keeping the following tips in mind:
1) Find a lawyer with experience.
Experience is a lawyer's most important asset. Research your lawyer's trial experience and look for a successful track record.

2) Ask trusted friends and colleagues for advice.
Although referrals may be your best source of information, choose the people you ask carefully. Ask people you trust who have experience in legal matters and ask specific questions about what it was like to work with the attorney and whether or not they would hire them again. If you know a defense attorney or can establish contact with one, ask them who their best adversary is. Never choose an attorney solely because they are a friend of a friend, or are related to someone you know. These qualities do not necessarily qualify them to represent you and your case.

3) Only choose a lawyer who bills on a contingent fee agreement.
This means that if you don't win your case, you owe your lawyer nothing. A contingent fee agreement is a system in which your lawyer receives a percentage of your settlement as payment. Do not hesitate to approach prominent firms who may appear to be too expensive financially ~ and remember that it is never to your advantage to represent yourself.

4) Hire locally.
A quick Internet search is a great place to start, but be aware that the anonymity of electronic communications enables some law firms to "troll" for cases out-of-state. Always hire an attorney whose practice is based in your state. Make an appointment to meet with the lawyer in person - face to face. Choosing a local attorney is not only the best choice for your case, as their extensive knowledge of your state's laws and local experience will directly support your claim; it also helps support the local economy.

5) Seek out an expert in your claim area.
If your claim is premises liability or wrongful death for example, choose an attorney who has experience within the specific system of your interest. These systems are often extremely complex, so always choose a lawyer who "does it full time." Always seek out an expert.

Mesothelioma Survivor and Understanding Mesothelioma

Paul Kraus is a mesothelioma survivor and the author of Surviving Mesothelioma. Mesothelioma is an uncommon form of cancer, usually associated with previous exposure to asbestos. In this disease, malignant (cancerous) cells develop in the mesothelium, a protective lining that covers most of the body's internal organs. Its most common site is the pleura (outer lining of the lungs and chest cavity), but it may also occur in the peritoneum (the lining of the abdominal cavity) or the pericardium (a sac that surrounds the heart).

Most people who develop mesothelioma have worked on jobs where they inhaled asbestos particles, or have been exposed to asbestos dust and fibre in other ways, such as by washing the clothes of a family member who worked with asbestos, or by home renovation using asbestos cement products.

Symptoms of mesothelioma may not appear until 30 to 50 years after exposure to asbestos.

Characterized by a shortness of breath and pain in the chest due to an accumulation of fluid in the pleural space, this is often symptoms of pleural mesothelioma.

Symptoms of peritoneal mesothelioma include weight loss and cachexia, abdominal swelling and pain due to ascites (a buildup of fluid in the abdominal cavity). Other symptoms of peritoneal mesothelioma may include bowel obstruction, blood clotting abnormalities, anemia, and fever.

If the cancer has spread beyond the mesothelium to other parts of the body, symptoms may include pain, trouble swallowing, or swelling of the neck or face. Be aware, however, that these symptoms may be caused by mesothelioma or by other, less serious conditions. Obtaining a diagnosis of mesothelioma is often difficult, because the symptoms are similar to those of a number of other, less serious conditions.

In June 1997, Mr. Kraus was diagnosed with mesothelioma (a "terminal" cancer) and given only a few months to live. More than eight years later, he is alive with a good quality of life having rejected surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy. He took an alternative approach to healing his cancer that encompassed mind, body, and spirit.

In his book about mesothelioma, Kraus sets out how he beat the odds. The introduction reflects Paul's inspiration and committment to life:

"In my eighth year after diagnosis I remain well. I have outlived my prognosis by at least seven years and the medical specialist I visited not long ago told me that 'you will be around for a lot longer yet.' My survival has been hard work. The underlying assumption with all that I have done, and continue to do, is a strong belief that our bodies are designed with amazing self-healing capacities."
Mr. Kraus has made himself available to other patients who would like to speak with him. The Surviving Mesothelioma website provides details about the book, how to speak directly with Mr. Kraus, facts and statistics about mesothelioma, conventional, alternative, biological and immuno-therapies, the latest medical news, directories of clinics that take a holistic approach to healing, and a patient forum where patients can share information and discuss issues of importance.

Laser Hair Removal: Know the Provider Qualifications

Laser hair removal is a fast-growing procedure that's helping thousands of people get rid of unwanted hair. The latest procedure uses intensed pulsed light (IPL) to destroy hair follicles and prevent the growth of follicles and hair for an extended period of time. Laser hair removal has been so popular because of its preciseness and success rates. If you're considering laser hair removal, your first step is to find someone who's qualified to perform the procedure. It's important that they be qualified and experienced to provide a high-quality procedure.
Finding Laser Hair Removal Specialists
Locating your laser hair removal specialist is not difficult. Make sure he or she is Board Certified in Dermatology. If more than one specialist is working at the office, find out if each is certified. If another member of the doctor's staff will be performing the procedure, that person should be a registered nurse or licensed physician to ensure proper care and use of the laser equipment. The facility where your procedure will be performed should be clean and professional. Ask for a tour of the facility and where your procedure will take place if possible. Take special care in choosing your specialist because laser hair removal is a medical procedure, and should be treated as such.
State Requirements for Laser Hair Removal
Each state varies in how laser hair removal can be performed. You'll need to know what your state requires and make sure your specialist understands this as well. The state requirements are broken down into four categories. Each category specifies how and by whom the procedure can be performed within that particular state. A brief explanation of each category is below.
1) Physician Only: A medical doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) must actually fire the laser. Then, the doctor may ask a PA, RN or other licensed professional to use laser during the hair removal procedure.
2) Direct: The laser can be fired by a medical or non-medical professional (according to the state's requirements), but the professional must remain under the direct supervision of the MD or DO, and also use the license and practice of the doctor.
3) Supervision: A medical or non-medical professional can fire the laser and perform the procedure under the supervision of a MD or DO. Depending on the state, the physician might or might not be present when the laser hair removal procedure is performed.
4) N/A: The state has no official requirements for laser hair removal procedures.

Google Adsense Tips Multiple Ad Units Tricks, and Secrets

Multiple Ad Units

Another way to increase ad revenue is to use multiple ad units. According to Google’s TOS you are allowed to post up to three ad units per page. Similar to standard search results the highest paying ad units will be served first and the lowest being served last. If there is enough of an ad inventory, place all three ad units. However you should pay attention to the payouts. Current assumption is you get 60% of the revenue (on a $0.05 click you get $0.03). So if a click from the third ad unit is only paying between 3 to 5 cents you may want to omit it from your page. This is one are where giving your ad units channels does have value. If one ad unit is getting a higher percentage of click throughs you’ll want to make sure the highest paying ads are being served there. TIP:Use CSS positioning to get your highest paying ads serving in the location with the highest CTR.

If you are interesting multiple ads unit. Please contact me.

Insurance policy and No win no fee

Overview

In insurance, the insurance policy is a contract (generally a standard form contract) between the insurer and the insured, known as the policyholder, which determines the claims which the insurer is legally required to pay. In exchange for payment, known as the premium, the insurer pays for damages to the insured which are caused by covered perils under the policy language. Insurance contracts are designed to meet specific needs and thus have many features not found in many other types of contracts. Since insurance policies are standard forms, they feature boilerplate language which is similar across a wide variety of different types of insurance policies.

This is Insurance policy and law

  • Insurance policy
  • Insurance law
  • Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act

"No Win No Fee"
The Conditional Fee Agreement (CFA) between a law firm and their client. In any claim (Commercial or Personal Innjury), this is an agreement between the client and their lawyer, which will enable the lawyer to take on a case on the understanding that if they lose the case, the client will not have to pay their lawyer’s costs, but will still be responsible for the defendants costs if the case is lost.

 Legal Expenses Insurance

This can also be referred to as before the event insurance (BTE), and is insurance that the client may already hold as part of Household contents or Car Insurance, either free or for a small fee. Some credit cards also include BTE insurance and it can also be taken out as a separate insurance policy. BTE insurance may pay for the legal costs when making a claim for compensation, whether the client wins or loses. Your solicitor will be able to identify if a client holds this type of policy and complete the necessary claim form. The 2008 report from the Ministry Of Justice found that in 2007, 48% of those who took part had BTE Insurance incorporated into their car insurance, 35% had BTE Insurance as part of their Home insurance policy and a further 17% had the insurance as part of their Travel Insurance. This insurance covers any legal expenses in addition to costs for pursuing a personal injury claim and cost for legal expenses from the other side if the client's claim in unsuccessful.

Legal Aid

Legal Aid is financial assistance which is funded by the Government. Legal Aid is not usually awarded in cases of personal injury unless under extreme circumstances. Legal aid is still available for Clinical Negligence cases.

Paying for own Legal costs

Due to the assistance that is available through insurance policies it is rare that an individual will fund their own personal injury claim although it is possible. As with all Legal fees if the client's claim is successful they will be in a position to claim back the cost of their expenses from the other side. If their claim is unsuccessful they will lose the money that they have paid out.

Understanding student loan types

Overview

A college education may be the most important investment in a child's life and has become one of the most costly, too. The publicly reported tuition charged by private colleges and universities for can reach $50,000 or more a year. The trends are alarming, too. And while tuition at public universities is generally lower, costs there have been growing even more steeply in recent years as government support has lagged.

Understanding student loan types

Federal student loans

Federal student loans are the largest source of education loans. You and your family can get these loans through private financial institutions such as Sallie Mae.

Federal student loans have more favorable terms than private loans. These loans are guaranteed by the government, and the government sets their low interest rate. Nearly all students are eligible to receive federal student loan money (regardless of credit score or other financial issues), and federal student loans feature a grace period after school when no payments are due.

Private student loans

After you've pursued free money and federal loans, a private student loan may be available to cover the rest of your education costs.

Depending on the lender, private student loan (alternative student loan) terms can vary considerably based on your credit history. Sallie Mae offers the following private student loan

Loans for international students

International student loans provide financial solutions for the growing population of students pursuing college and university degrees outside their home country.

The Dummy's Guide To Marriage

In a massive dose of hindsight, I realized that everyone tends to blow the whole marriage scene out of proportion. I"m here to set the record straight on some myths, some do's and don't's and to basically get your head out of the sand when it comes to the almighty nuptials.

1. Your life is about to change. - Um, why? If you're thinking about marriage then you'd better be DAMN certain you know what you're getting into here. Your best bet is to know your partner inside and out. It drives me nuts when people bitch about stupid shit like their partner puts the toilet paper roll on backwards, or they squeeze from the wrong end of the toothpaste tube, or they wash glasses last. C'mon people! If you're going to spend the rest of your life with someone then you'd better be aware of every little intricacy of their daily routine. If something surprises you then you didn't do your homework.

2. You surrender your freetime/freedom/hobbies. - Heeeelllllllllllllll no. I love my girlfriend to death but I still need my own space. I need to do my own thing every now and then to unwind in true guy fashion. Its those times I boot her out the door for a pedicure/massage/shopping/lunch with her GFs; ie. something she can do for herself without me hovering over her shoulder. Sure, we hang out together often but 24/7/365 gets old quick. If your partner starts giving you the look about going out to do your own thing, just point out things that they can do for themselves as well. But keep it in moderation...every night at the bar or every weekend on the back 9 is called neglect.

3. You become a different person. - People are constantly growing and learning every day. In every situation we are examining options, determining outcomes and becoming better at what we do. It's called progress. Now, when people come at you with that whole "Dude, you've changed since you got married..." there's two things to consider here: 1) Did you out grow the frat boy persona your buds are missing, and 2) Did you grow up or get whipped up? No one should be told to change for someone else's desire. "I would love you more if you did ..." is a bullshit line. You are who you are and you aren't required to change for anyone. Sure you can grow but drastic course changes don't work for many people. You're supposed to grow TOGETHER, not you grow while they direct. This is where communication comes into play. You need to talk about everything together so that you can reach that end point together and not sleeping in separate beds.

4. Dating is better than being married. - Yes, because spending every Friday/Saturday at the bar losing $100+ trying to pick up that cutie that's been eyeing your best friend all night is the bomb. Back in my days of hooking up and hanging out, I would've tentatively agreed with that statement. Sure it was nice to meet new people, but did I have to go through a dozen wack-jobs to find someone with half a brain? I couldn't stand trying to date these days. I'm too old and too tired to play those games. Give me someone that understands me without me having to say a word, and I'll trump your prayers to the porcelain god any day.

5. Your partner is more likely to cheat if you're married. - First of all, cheaters are driven to cheat. Something is driving them away from your arms and to someone else's, be it your lack of attention, someone else's attention to them, or their lack of resolve...it's all predestined to happen. We are all primal creatures of habit. We breed, that's what mammals do. The trick is to figure out how to KEEP your mate. Your attention should be focused on their needs (and vice versa) so that there's no need to see the grass on the other side of the fence. You stop mowing the lawn and they're bound to go looking for a new landscapper. You need to communicate and spend time together. When the physical starts to go a few and far between, you need to put on the brakes and make special quaility time for each other. Sex in the marriage shouldn't be a chore but it shouldn't slip your mind either.

6. Kids will ruin your life. - If this is your first thought when someone mentions kids, then do yourself a favor and don't have them. Kids ARE a life-altering event, but they are supposed to be a POSITIVE one and not a negative one. Sure, you're now responsible for them for the next 18-20 years and you'll lose sleep, hair and money on them but they're worth it. You can still do many of the normal things before the kiddies came along if you organize your routines. Pre-plan, prepare and precondition yourselves to doing things to free up time for yourselves. It's possible, trust me. And when you watch their sleeping faces before you head to bed, you'll realize that kids ARE your life but they don't control it and you wouldn't miss this for the world.

7. Careers put the relationship second. - Speaking on second-hand knowledge here, it's possible that two people will need to further their money-making skills by going back to school to hopefully add another 'zero' to the end of their paycheck. This is known as a sacrifice. They now have to study and do all that school stuff and you have to pick up the slack from all the things they're not going to be able to do for you. Yeah, it'll suck for however long they're doing but you have to look at the long-term goal here. Better job offers, better pay and better opportunities for promotion are the end results and you can't really afford to pass those up these days. The one thing to keep in mind is that if it's the both of you, don't whine when it's their turn to go to class. They put up with all the crap while you studied so the least you can do is return the favor. And plan for a big vacation once you both get where you need to be career-wise. You'll have earned it.

Let's add to this.

What myths/rumors of marriage are you concerned about?
