Make everyone pause for a moment and document the fun by creating a “Santa Photo Op”
How to do it: Set up a chair near your Christmas tree and place a basket of accessories next to the chair. We suggest Santa hats, Santa beard, reindeer antlers, a Rudolph nose, scarves, ski hats, etc. Set a Polaroid camera or your digital camera (rollip.com) next to the chair so you are ready to take photos at a moments notice.
When guests stop by they have to put on some festive accessories and sit in the “Santa Chair” and get their picture taken. We find this hilarious and the guests get into it too. Yes, we have even made the guys fixing our lawn do it, the nice older neighbor that dropped off cookies and we have many, many, many photos of our children’s friends doing their best Santa impressions.
Take all of the pictures and incorporate your Santa Photo Ops into your Christmas 2009 Photo Album. The photos will crack you up up for years and years and years!
